“Energy at  KU” with Craig Hansen, Energy Program  Manager

Monday, Feb. 23; noon to 1  pm
Alderson  Auditorium, Kansas Union

We will  discuss energy use at KU, the energy policy currently in place, and on-going  efforts to improve our energy efficiency. We will also discuss ways you  can do your part to help with energy conservation efforts, as well as take suggestions for other ideas for saving energy. We will also discuss  options KU is pursuing related to renewable  energy.

“Now what?” Resources and strategies to assist when you’re non-renewed, downsized, or let  go

As our  colleagues are experiencing the financial pressures at KU through cutbacks on  positions and programs, we all wonder what resources KU can offer,  and what strategies we should be developing for coping and moving forward, professionally and personally. Come and join the discussion with  knowledgeable KU experts from HR/EO, University Career Center, KU  Psychological Services, and the Graduate School so that you are prepared  should someone you know need information and/or support during an unsettling time.
